"insufficient administrator privileges"
i have XP professional, had reinstalled due to BSOD with single account which is passport protected administrator. my problem is that am unable to install any softwares like adobe flash player, winrar, etc.. n even .NET framework couldnt get installed through automatic updates. always get a error message showing"A required file could not be written due to insufficient permissions" [C:\WINDOWS\system32\(the particular software\..)] or "error opening file for writing"i tried installing through adminstrator account (i.e by ctrl+alt+del twice) but still the same.faced similar problems during previous reinstallations, but got fine automatically after using for a few weeks.but now this not getting fixed.. browsed many forums.. got scrwedany solutions?? pls helpThanks, 1 person needs an answerI do too

Do you have an anti-virus software installed? i tried creating another admin account, but still didnt work.. there are no virus nor spyware..
